You’ve probably seen Gary playing intelligent, authoritative characters with a hint of smugness and sarcasm on New York dramas like Blue Bloods, New Amsterdam, FBI: Most Wanted, The Sinner, and Law & Order. His six years working in Congress along with his current work in Bitcoin lend him a natural air of credibility for roles in the political, tech, and finance worlds.
But the real fun is when Gary gets to turn those credible professional expectations on their head as the high-status idiot or quick-witted jerk in TV comedies (The Last O.G., Search Party, Friends from College, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert) and in online sketches (The Onion, Above Average, The Dad, College Humor, Major League Baseball). In addition to writing and performing with his PIT house sketch team and getting selected to perform sketch comedy in NBC’s annual diversity showcase, Gary has written and co-produced comedy shorts seen by millions and shared by numerous outlets including: Time Magazine, ABC News, The Hollywood Reporter, Ad Week, Entertainment Weekly and dozens more.
He has performed in numerous notable commercials including a Super Bowl spot with his NY Giants. And his quick mastery of information, natural improv chops, and delight at playing with a crowd have also helped him emcee live events for major companies including: Microsoft, Wyndham, Zip Car, Ubisoft, and Showtime.
Gary trained theatrically with Carol Fox Prescott, on-camera master class with Bob Krakower, and studied improv under Groundlings founder Gary Austin and at UCB with Chris Gethard and Charlie Todd.
Gary’s not sure why he wrote all of this in the third person…and continues to do so.
